She settled for an alleged $30m so the civil side is sorted. No doubt that settlement had a clause that she can't say anything but obviously someone decided to leak this. Guess his fixers didn't get hold of all of the copies the hotel had, I imagine some IT guy kept a copy. The hotel must be made to explain.

The world isn't what it is today because the British/Japanese/Chinese/Indians/Romans/Arabs/etc were nice people. Empires were built on extreme violence. Dominance is built on violence. Violence is within any humans, else countries such as the US, RSA, as well as the entire continent of South America wouldn't be inhabited by people of European descend.

Hotels tolerate a lot of garbage when it's committed by the rich and famous.

The tape was released a few days after Diddys son released a track dissing 50 cent. He also taunted the feds on the diss by saying that they raided the wrong house. It could have been the fbi who somehow released that footage to cnn.

I've no idea who Diddy's son is and doubt too many people do or even if 50 would care for a diss from a nobody trying to gain a bit of fame.

Doubt the FBI would have done that. If the video had been given to them at the time they would have handed it to relevant local authorities for prosecution. I see that Diddly apparently paid the hotel $50k for the video. That makes them criminally liable imo. So, my speculation that a savvy IT tech kept a copy stands.

If an IT guy kept a copy then he had years to make money off it, especially during the height of me too when this incident occured. I think that the authorities got hold of it and released it to encourage other victims could step forward.
