You’re a thought criminal! It surely cannot be the vaccine right? I mean they don't cause Myocarditis? Correlation just cannot be causation?

Wow, I didn't notice that cowies hill guy but saw the drummond runner swarmed by paramedics. RIP comrade. It isn't for sissies, that's for sure. There was another guy at the top of Cowies Hill who looked like he was having a complete nervous or mental breakdown. Lying on the ground, screaming and thrashing his arms and legs at anyone who tried to come near him. It was very disconcerting to see.
If you look at the elite, they were also slower this year.A few of the Comrades veterans (10+ races) I chat to mentioned that the race was particularly difficult for them, despite the hectic training and preparations. They attribute it to the break (2yrs?) since the last race. Apparently your body handles the annual punishment of the race better. It makes sense me, being a non-athlete in all respects.
I disagree, you train throughout the year doing qualifiers etc and long runs as training in preparation. One thing you could look at is that runner's had to train more in winter.People said the race was rushed, 3 months to train, serious runners had to train harder and even take leave from work.
Quite a few runners collapsed, a few at the end in the stadium run, was funny, entertaining and sad to watch the guys collapse 5m from the finish line
There is no hope for you.LOL! Same as the papers written by Peter Boghossian, James A. Lindsay. He he he, peer reviewed.

Down run because of the negative slope I believe. It’s called a downhill run this year
The course was also 3.5km longer this year than the previous down run.If you look at the elite, they were also slower this year.
PMB is at 596m, Moses Mhabida, Durban is pretty much sea level.Down run because of the negative slope I believe.
Incorrect, 2018 was actually a few hundred meters longer than this year. Only up runs are roughly 3km shorter. The course was also 3.5km longer this year than the previous down run.
600m over 90kms? thats near as damnit flat... whats this Up/Down run nonsense then?PMB is at 596m, Moses Mhabida, Durban is pretty much sea level.
I stand corrected, I looked up the 2019 one by mistake.Incorrect, 2018 was actually a few hundred meters longer than this year. Only up runs are roughly 3km shorter.
try running it in both directions then let us know.... the down run, isnt really a down... all those hills have eyes!600m over 90kms? thats near as damnit flat... whats this Up/Down run nonsense then?

Another antivaxx thread...
I'm looking forward to next year's run... @ToxicBunny
Don't forget to post split times as well please
LOL should come do the pirates hat race, beers at the half way point are the best, done it every year for the last 6 or so years (besides 2020 due to covid restrictions), every year my 2nd half is considerably faster LOL, the carbs from the beers help with the energy levels. Can confidently say that the hangover helped when I ran a 5km after the Boks game. I ran till about 1.7km where the first water break is, and concluded that I didn't have 2 more of those in the tank and withdrew from the run. If If didn't have the hangover I might have pushed myself for a km or 2 more before withdrawing anyways for being unfit.
