We do sanitize them as soon as we come from outside. I thought this was standard practice, is it not?
I've seen some people reverse those tube sock ones inside out a couple of times on the same day... So I don't think so

Nope. I'm willing to bet the majority of people don't bother anymore. They keep some old gob muzzle in the cubby hole of the car that they can throw on to get in the door at the supermarket or restaurant. This is to be expected.

Sounds more like they want to crack down on the alcohol side of things.
Seems there are numerous gatherings going on unabated and alcohol is almost always involved.
Why the police cant be instructed to fine and shut these things down is beyond me.

Why this is fine at 11:59pm but not 12:01am is beyond me.

The way they are going on they make it sound like these people are running crack dens when all they are doing is living life in a way that was perfectly normal up until the arbitrary curfew rules.

Never treat a problem at the source! Always go chasing the loose ends - just like the copper theft scourge.

Ja, Squirrel and the other fat useless things in parly can go screw themselves...repeatedly

I'm getting sick of all the nonsense we have to put up with here....go catch the criminals ANC goverment...The guys who are climbing walls in the middle of the day with you at home.. no fear and no issue....give your overweight and undertrained cops handcuffs so when I catch the criminals I don't have to rugby tackle them to the ground and keep them restrained while your piglets find a set of cuff (people...buy some cuffs for home!)

Train your cops not to use the butt of a 9mm as a hammer.....but ja....I guess these clowns will just take the easy route...those of us who are law abiding....best buy some vaseline and bend over or merge in with the criminals as that's all SA is becoming....one big cesspit of crime...perpetrated from the top office down to the lowest echelon....And Covid is the perfect storm for the ANC Cadres....

he should start with the cashiers at the shops.... this weekend at Checkers, more than half the cashiers have mask... nose open... face shield .... lifted over their head.... doesn't help ****, you may as well take it off completely.
same to all the people who walk around with mask at half mast... you may as well remove the irritation, you are not doing yourself and anybody else any favours wearing like that.

Well I know what I'll be doing with my lunch break.

Not that another hard lockdown is even logical. They went through all this effort to create stages, but they don't want to use them. If infections increase after going down a stage, then just go up to the previous one again.
Let's see them banning cigarettes again. See if I care. A few minutes later and the stash is strong with me.

Ex cit. I'm not surprised about SA going back to another LD. This was not decided now only, but a while back. You could read the signs here by LD3. Remember besides being a socialist country, they "follow" the science, which is the CCP and WHO whose 1. I believe the advisory committee was apparently all fired via email, not getting a salary etc. I don't know if it's true or not, but then you have to ask yourselves, how did they get to this again? Do you trust the stats, because I sure as hell won't and anybody who believes the WHO must be daft. I live in a Scandinavian country and work in the ME. My home country now, is very disciplined and I don't think SA is disciplined. Don't think it improved. where I work, there are no locals allowed and when we move out in HV's we don't stop or get out. We don't allow anybody within 10 meters of us either. We get tested on a regular basis as well. Strongs.

Scandinavian in ME - you must be getting worshipped in ME, bra - lucky you.

Since you are a man of international waters, were you also not surprised about other countries 2nd lockdown? Do you have inside information (like SA) that this was decided a while back etc? Not sure if they also fired their advisory committee?

Think of SA as a Gulag system, each cell (town) has a designated snitch, the actual criminals run the prisons(area's), the laws get ignored when convenient by the wardens & inquisitors (cops), etc

So lockdowns are obviously not to prepare the Healthcare systems as we were all lied to back in March, cause governments are just throwing them around like this. People really need to remember they are the bosses of the politicians not the other way around.
Also are the deaths rising to match? Are the number of hospital beds increasing? Also ffs haven't they learnt the more tests you do the more you find? On the days they did get 2k they had done 20k or over on tests and on the days they did 10k tests they only did 1k or under. I mean freaking hell this is ridiculous.

Countries are being bribed to impose lockdowns. Both the IMF and World Bank are giving governments money as well as extending new loans to countries, if in return they agree to impose lockdowns. As I recall the S.A. was just granted an IMF loan only days ago, and now all of a sudden talk of a new lockdown. It is no co-incidence.

Than again they've been threatening a return to hard lock down since June.

The only thing that may get them to think twice is that elections are not too far off. On the other hand, if they grant themselves dictatorial powers between now and then, then they mostly likely think that they need not care.
