Secretly tell companies you are looking for a new job

LinkedIn has made it possible for you to privately tell recruiters you’re open to new job opportunities.

LinkedIn keeps telling me people are 'secretly' looking at my profile. If people are looking, then why aren't they contacting me or am I so *** sleg that they are running for the hills that or they're just trying to bait be to buy their pro services. I am hoping it is the latter

Also had the same thing. Only difference was that I did not have the burden of work colleagues seeing my posts (did not friend them) and posted openly that I am looking at a new job....

Only got two or three responses that fizzed out.
