Hi Guys

I hope someone can assist?

I have a Lorex LW2231 CCTV IP camera (640 x 480) which is connected wireless to my FHD TV through the AV (RCA) port. No problem there.

I now wish to rather view the camera from my laptop and perhaps record it? The receiving unit has both an RCA and BNC connector.

1. What is the best method to do this? (First prize if it does not require another separate power cable) and
2. What is the recommended product(s) to enable connectivity.

I'm not an IT guru but will do my best.

Thanks

That is wireless analogue camera not an IP camera. To view and record it on a laptop you will need a USB DVR like this

Hi, OK so maybe it wasn't as easy for me than I thought?

I purchased the Easycap 4CH USB DVR, but I do not get it to install?

I loaded the CD, started to install the driver, waited for it to download, rebooted and when I click on "Multiviewer" it tells me: "Not found valid video capture device!"

I did plug my receiver in with both the BNC and RCA connectors. Though there are 3 yellow females on the Easycap, I used any one for my RCA. The BNC is connected to the white Easycap connector!

Help PLEASE, what am I doing wrong? If only I can see the Multiviewer screen I'm already getting closer, but I'm not even getting there.....

I'm lost!!!
