Security vulnerability on SABC TV Licence website lets attackers see and change profile data

I get "Account not found." Thank you to whoever removed me completely from the system :cool:
 
How bloody annoying.
SABC is bad at this. I would like to have all my personal details removed from their databases.
But I cant. How are we supposed to defend ourselves against their incompetence.

Sure their admin interfaces are just as bad.
 
I don't think this is a security vulnerability I think this is by design and thus intentional breach of POPI.

Will they be jailed or doesn't popi apply to government?

I don't know what your wife's reason for paying is but I pay it because I feel guilty and would prefer they stop texting and calling me. I accidentally paid double one year because their website glitched and I thought the payment didn't go through, so I did it again.

My wife believe it is the right thing to do. I tried explaining why we dont have to pay, since we no longer use SABC services. We even listen to radio stations via the internet as I have not replace our old radio since it packed up.
