The chief executive of JP Morgan has suggested that governments should seize private land to build wind and solar farms in order to meet net zero targets.

Jamie Dimon, the longstanding boss of the Wall Street titan who donates to the Democratic Party, said green energy projects must be fast-tracked as the window for averting the most costly impacts of global climate change is closing.

In his annual shareholder letter, Mr Dimon said: “Permitting reforms are desperately needed to allow investment to be done in any kind of timely way.

Lol uhm they can already do it offshore anywhere they want, but governments do own enough land. Viable land is definitely not the problem.

Just shows how limited their brains are. Lets do wind lets do solar........ what about gawd dam Hydroelectricity? we have many rivers in SA. yet somehow we only have a few hydroelectric plants.
Dumb idiot's.

There's only a small of amount land were solar is economically actually viable in the US

Jamie isn't thinking about efficiency, he's thinking about the billions he's going to make off those investments

The Democrats aren't thinking about efficiency, they're thinking about the donor funding they get from JP Morgan

America is as corrupt as South Africa

They should have a look at what he and his company owns and ask him to sieze it over as he sugested it.

That's a brave statement for a man worth $ 1.6 billion, I wonder if he just liquidated his real estate portfolio.

Well if hes thinking then he must be using his brain.

Put some proper sharp blades on the wind turbines make them spin at different heights. Then put them in a 1 mile deep line across the US Mexico border.
