Send Facebook photos to cellphones

Facebook users can install the Pix2fone application on Facebook as they would any of the applications ranging from virtual fortune cookies to horoscopes.

Once installed, Pix2fone allows Facebook users to send any photo from their Facebook albums directly to their cellphone or to the phones of their Facebook friends.

Not an MMS

Recipients receive an SMS with a WAP link to download the photo to their phone. Instead of having to pay an MMS rate of around R1,50, recipients are only charged for the data transfer (which works out to a couple of cents on most data packages).

Its talking about what recipients are charged but you dont pay to receive MMS's.
