Role Summary - Purpose:

This position, Senior C#, C++ Software Developer will be a part of the development team, with expectations around excellence and efficient development for applications, configurations, documentation and support.
This position will be focused on team management, System Architecture, development and business process engineering resolution for the retail and distribution industry businesses located primarily in Africa, but expanding globally.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Degree / Diploma - IT subjects as majors from reputable institution

Skills:

10 years min dev exp in ALL of the following C#, Java, C++, VB Dot Net.

Relational database and SQL experience.
Relational database analysis skills.
Prepared to work on Microsoft and open source technologies.
Team Management
Design and Architectural Experience
Able to work in a Non Corporate, Agile environment.


Responsibilities: -

Software development and developer testing.
Maintain and enhance server (C++) and client (C#) applications.
Maintain and enhance relational database structures.
Maintain and enhance in-house tools and frameworks.
Developing and implementing data take-on scripts and programs.
Provide analysis for other teams within the company.

Technologies: -

PostgreSQL or Oracle experience.
Mongo DB and NodeJS experience.
Django experience.
Python experience.
Shell scripting experience.
Linux experience.
Troubleshooting.
