Senior Test Engineer (Mobile Automation) - Century City - R30 000 - R50 000

We are looking for a skilled and passionate senior test engineer to be an important part of a talented QA team in the game development space. A successful candidate will need to be technically excellent, a mentor and able to execute on the direction of the Team Lead.

General Requirements:
 6 + Years’ experience in the Quality Assurance test cycle
 ISTQB qualification will be an advantage
 Solid Experience in Web (HTML5/Canvass) and mobile (iOS/Android) automation
 Solid Experience in CI using TeamCity, RabbitMQ and CouchBase
 Self-motivated with strong capability of fast learning
 Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills
 Good team player and good written and verbal communication skills
 Good knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL and Linux

Duties Include but not limited to:
 Review requirements and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed; i.e., perform manual static testing.
 Select and develop appropriate test automation tools, applying the latest techniques in test automation; e.g., data-driven testing.
 Use risk-driven techniques to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for various applications; i.e., perform automated dynamic testing.
 Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs, Drivers, and other Development test objects.
 Work with the Release Team to create and maintain an automated nightly build verification (“smoke”) test.
 Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
 Results tracking and reporting
