I seem to be having problems with my 512 and 1mb lines.

I get sync but when looking at the PPPoE status it stays on "SENT_PADR"

What is wrong here ??

I'm in the (011) 234 exchange

I think you are using a router pots, one of the first ones available.
Sent_Padi is wat it should say, and that meens that ur line is not communicating with the ESR at the exchange, u have to log a fault..nothing wrong with ur line tho..
