SEP Manager

Is anyone familiar with the SEP protection manager? Ive tried the symantec forums but its soo fkin painfull and the answers they provide never work.

Basically, I installed SEP on a small workhgroup of about 20pcs...The manager went faulty and the service wont start. Last time, I re-installed it but Im worried that if I do it again, I will lose all the clients that are connected to it.

My question is, if I re-install it, will I have to reinstall the client version on all the pcs again?

And no, I don't think you will have to reinstall the client. Which version of the client do you have?

Yeah I know but they dont want a server or domain etc..

The version is SEP11. I re-installed it and it works with a clean database but when I point it to the other db I saved it wont start and the service stops running.
