The first season was kind of "meh", especially if you are a fan of the books and the movie. I finished watching it but doubt whether I'll bother watching the second season.

The Middle is ending. After almost a decade the show will end after it's upcoming 9th season.

I'm sad to see it go. It never really had critical acclaim or was a ratings-buster, but it is in my opinion a damn good show. It is good, simple, light entertainment. It's one show that truly maintained, if not improved, it's story and quality over time.

I watched the first episode, then watched 6 episodes the next day. It's kind of catchy actually. More or less follows the movie but there's obviously more content.

I liked it overall, would watch Season 2 (if there is one).

Its average. Its the movie stretched over 10 episodes. I won't continue with the series though, not because I don't like it but theres so much more series to watch.

Besides I think I've had enough of "a highly decorated ex-marine returns . . . " already.
