This looks good.

This six part thriller unravels the truth behind a series of murders as DCI Gabriel Markham hunts down a brutal killer.

The twist? This story is told in reverse – take another look at the title.

The drama will start with the killer being captured; from there, the drama will move backwards, covering the search for the perpetrator before ending with the brutal attack itself.

The series promises to be an intelligent, character-lead drama, exploring just what it is that makes someone a killer or a policeman – what makes you who you are?

it seems more drama than comedy.

They're based on different short stories that I (don't think) are collected in one volume (the collection I have doesn't have a couple of them). Check if there's a collection specifically for the TV series out or planned.
