FWIW, at the risk of stating the obvious - the book is way better, at least for the first season.

How far did you get in Breaking Bad? It does actually take into season 2 to ratchet up the story.

You have to agree some things just aren't for some. I didn't like BB but love peaky blinders.

I soldiered through BB but have yet to finish the final episode. The only thing I found worth watching about it was Saul. All the gangster types promised so much but delivered little and all those silences just annoyed. Jesse was annoying too.

Not disputing just saying it takes time to build up. I wouldn't have guessed how great it would become on the basis of season 1

Peaky Blinders was the surprise of the year for me. Binged all 4 seasons in one weekend and wanted more.
