I binged "Patrick Melrose" this weekend.

What a tour de force! Absolute perfect casting in all roles to start with.

The story of course, is heartbreaking and shocking, but there are also incredibly funny scenes in between, mostly based on incredibly acerbic wit.

Especially watch out for Pip Torrens...his perfect English pronunciation, combined with dialogue dipped in acid, steals many scenes.

All in all a fantastic mini series.

I see he is in character - and that's what I love about Sasha Baron Cohen - he uses these characters go get people to open up and say things they wouldn't otherwise say. Looks good imo.

First episode I only really enjoy the gun segment. The rest of the characters and interviews weren't that great. Might just take some time for the characters and situations to develop - will see what happens next episode.
