2160p Amazon Rip already out

"The.Grand.Tour.2016.S04E01.2160p.AMZN.WEBRip.DDP5.1.x264-NTb.part1.rar.html "

Episode 1 is about just over 30GB in size.

I only have a small 65-inch TV, so the 7GB 1080p is more than enough for me.

What I am trying to say is that there is absolutely no difference between an UHD 4k file and a 1080p on the 65-inch TV. I think for you to really experience real UHD 4k you need to look at a much bigger screen than a 65-inch.

I dont agree.

You don't have to. If you feel you are getting the experience of 2160p on a 65-inch screen, then, well good for you. I know that I do not. 1080p is the highest and best resolutions for a 65-inch screen. 2160p rarely makes any difference in my view. 2160p will be much better visible and one can experience it on a much larger screen.

How far away are you sitting from the 65" TV? The farther away you are the less the difference between 1080p and 4K.

I am about 2.5 - 3m from the screen. There is no noticable difference between 2160p and 1080p at all. Obviously, due to the size of the screen, anything closer to the screen is a waste of time though.

Are your eyes ok? I can see a big difference on my 49" tv when I'm going between 4k and 1080p. But it's not the be all and end all. I have a 1080p Apple TV and I often prefer the image quality to my smart tv's native 4k output even though there's less detail.

Due to the lack of worthwhile viewing, I'm forced to watch Firefly AGAIN! At least it is good. Also will be doing the traditional December BoB binge watch.

Watchmen...

... that’s *exactly* how you stick a landing.

It was pretty good. I think with Lindelof, the fewer episodes the better. His storytelling through layers of obfuscation gets annoying quick.

I would have preferred 6 episodes for this arc.

Your TV is probably upscaling to 4K.
