Just as probable that he needs to get his eyes tested..

Yeah, could probably be my eyes. Not disputing it in the least. But, there are much written about the difference between 4k and 1080p on a 65-inch television before and all writings seems to confirm that 4k would be better suited on a bigger sized screen than a 65-inch. So, that is the only reason why I will not be jumping to have my eyes tested.

While you might see a bigger difference on a larger screen, it certainly does not mean you will not see a difference on a 65".

Trust me, I've spent quite a bit on flat screens over the years. I did my research and did my own viewing beforehand. The improvement in picture quality was well worth the money.

Same here. And I definitely can confirm, on a new Hisense 65-inch television, the difference between a 61GB 4k movie and a 19GB 1080p Blu-Ray verison of the same movie is neglectible and will probably not be noticable to most people.

But, nonetheless, if a 100GB movie makes you feel better watching it, then who am I to stop you.

"Same here"? We have directly opposing views, old chap. Started with the beers early by any chance?

What source are you using BTW. My MI Box looks way better doing 1080p than my HTPC on a 4K TV.

Hmmm, Expanse season 4 looks cool.
Now to decide whether to catch up on the last 2 seasons or not.
Need some scifi fix.

We’re quite enjoying The Morning Show for what it’s worth. It’s good entertainment.

Just about finished the Expanse S4, 15 min left of the final episode.

It really doesn't feel as grandiose as the other seasons. I still enjoyed it as a fan, but its by far the worst imo.

We are really enjoying The Mandalorian.

Better than any SW movie.
