Saw the name and thought: "Can it be?"

Went to IMDB and read the Arsene Lupin blurb on the poster and started rejoicing...harking back to late 70's TV ( I think...?)

Watched the trailer and thought: "Ag my goeie fok tog!!"

Agreed. Never watched it myself. I just remember seeing the new season releasing sometime over the weekend.

I persisted into s02 because..... there was nothing else to watch. It all becomes a ringing echo chamber of touchy feely propaganda.

If I had to watch Arsene Lupin today, I would probably think that it didn't age well....but this new series just looks like a contrived abomination.
