So I'm almost through season one of Yellowstone.

Would I be right that it's essentially a bunch of macho, rich, self-absorbed, bigoted assholes, with zero saving graces, out to screw over anyone who gets in the way of what they want, knowing they are powerful enough for there to be no consequences ?

If a native American war party came down from the hills, burnt everything to the ground and scalped the entire family, that would be just peachy.

It's Dallas/Dynasty/Falcon Crest revamped for the 2020's.

Not since Season 1 Episode 1.

Jokes aside, it has gone so, SO far past the movie, and the first series itself, that I've lost track. I watch for the music, and then to try working out the storyline.
Robots are taking over, people are bad, a robot can hit a hole in 1 every single time, and I am only on episode 2.

We are busy finishing this one. The Terminal List has been action-packed and quite the thriller. Chris Pratt is awesome, and the supporting cast excellent. Well worth the watch and a solid 8.2/10.

I decided to go back to watching old series which come highly rated. But even then, not always a win.

In season 1 of The Wire - such high acclaim for this show, but i am just not finding it so great - maybe the bar is too high coming off Better Call Saul - or i just don't get it, or it hasn't aged well.

Yes.

I also stopped Better Call Saul after episode 1 as I was comparing it to Breaking Bad and expecting the same intensity. It is slow in comparison, but as the Seasons go by it gets just as intense. These last couple of episodes have been awesome and the two stories are coming together nicely now. With the next episode being the cracker

I am 9 episodes into season 1....has its moments but just not enticing the need to binge it if you know what i mean.
