I await Apple TV+ to give L.A. Confidential the 10 episode treatment it deserves. I read the book and I understand why the author was not a fan of the movie.And they have remade Cape Fear into a TV series.

Done & dusted. This was an enjoyable sports comedy, nothing groundbreaking at all & there are many tried & tested troupes however it was a fun watch. High on bingeability.
Some of the characters have no like-ability at all & others less so.
Kate Hudson easily carries the entire show. I would be game for S2, we can see how it would likely unfold.
Watched the 1st few episodes, decent so far. Kate Hudson looks like a younger Jennifer Coolidge and once this clicks you can't unsee it.

An immersive watch, masterful cinematography. Huge kudos to Owen Cooper (the lighty), his 1st acting gag, epi 3 in particular was chilling as hell.
