I must say that I prefer the British shows, including "Silent Witness".

And as for the genteel absurdity of "Midsomer Murders" - I'm hooked :)

if there is something i really don't like, its the british shows. Don't really know why. They just don't appeal to me. I think they appear 'low budget' to me, and that just puts me off immediately. Maybe also because it seems like it's more local than the US series, and to me, local is ***, nevermind lekker.

Good people! I need your opinions please.

American Horror Story. Is it any good? Is it worth wasting bandwidth on?

Highly appreciated. Thanks

British shows can be an acquired taste. They are far more cerebral, as are the European shows.

The US shows nearly all feature "superheroes" + bad guys incapable of aiming a gun: it gets a bit much at times.

All seasons are excellent.
The current season is really twisting and turning.

just finished watching season 1 of the witches of east end, I enjoyed it, its not as hectic as AHS: Coven, but still fun to watch.

I enjoy it still.

Lost interest in American Horror Story for some reason, but can't put my finger on it :erm:

The last season is piss poor, they really need to pick this **** up if they want another season out of me.

Season 3 doesn't really have the horror story vibe for me tbh, on episode 8 so will se ehow the rest of the season pans out... Season 2 was awesome.

1 and 2 were awesome. 3 i don't like. but the good thing about the show, is that every season is a new story. so looking forward to season 4 again :)

Myself and the wife are really enjoying Season 3 of American Horror Story.
We enjoy the twisted vibe in all the seasons.

Which British shows have you watched? As with any television industry they range from godawful to brilliant...
