sab checks if its encrypted or not. if yes, it pauses. you can resume it again but it wont extract. you can manually supply the password using a 3rd party zip program i guess. its supplied in the .nfo

its fsucking infuriating. openelec is a problem since i haven't had a chance to research how to extract via xbmc yet using a zip program.

there are lots of passworded protected stuff lately. fsucking annoying. lemmie check through windows quickly.

Haven't had many issues with this tbh, maybe 3 of my downloads in the past year had this issue.

Makes sense.

I'm using Synology for torrents, and whereas PB or KAT have a padlock emblem for password protected rar's, Synology doesn't so you only find out after the download.

What quality you trying to get though? That is probably the issue.

For series I only set it to SD so I figured it must be that, which sucks. I saw on PB a webrip, under which setting would this fall as the file is not too big.

Recently I've been getting nzb's paused on SABNZB - because of an encrypted rar file.

This means... ?

As the others have pointed out, probably because the file is password-protected.

Also because you have the "Action when encrypted RAR is downloaded" (config>switches>queue) set to "pause" for entry of a password

Agreed. Only thing is that it is an anthology - similar to American Horror Story; there will be one storyline per season, so it can't keep escalating over 4 seasons like Breaking Bad did.

Check your Sickbeard log. Also couldn't find it but apparently Sickbeard did but decided upon seeing the file name that it didn't sound legit. Thus it skipped it.
