I am busy watching Cosmos by Carl Sagan.

Carl Sagan is a genius!

I am going to start watching Homeland this weekend. From what I have heard its an amazing series. And the top show on Showtime at the moment.

Ok, so Missing & Homeland are apparently crap as they progress so what's left to watch?

The first season received universal acclaim, scoring a Metacritic rating of 91 out of 100 from 28 critics.[30] TV Guide named it the best TV show of 2011[31] and highly applauded the performances by Damian Lewis and Claire Danes.[32] Metacritic determined Homeland to be the second best TV show of 2011 according to major TV critics, by aggregating the critics' year-end top ten lists.[33]

Hank Stuever of The Washington Post gave the pilot episode an A−, saying "What makes Homeland rise above other post-9/11 dramas is Danes's stellar performance as Carrie—easily this season's strongest female character" and that "The latter half of the first episode is exhilarating. I'm hooked."[34] Matthew Gilbert of The Boston Globe said it was his favorite drama pilot of the season, giving it an A.[35] Entertainment Weekly's Ken Tucker gave it an A−, stating "It's the fall season's most intriguing, tense puzzler."[36] IGN TV gave it a positive review, saying that it was an "ace thriller" that also managed to have something to say about the War on Terror.[37] The seventh episode, "The Weekend", received overwhelming critical acclaim and was described by both the creators of the show and Damian Lewis as a "watershed" episode.[38][39]

I enjoyed Homeland, good acting and an intriguing story line. The final episode in the series was nothing short of riveting!! High quality finale!!

My top 10 series to date in order of preference:

1.) Breaking Bad
2.) The Pacific
3.) The Wire
4.) The Sopranos
5.) Dexter
6.) Downton Abbey
7.) Game Of Thrones
8.) Life
9.) Homeland
10.) Shameless US

TBO there is very little separating 2-7 for me, GoT could quite easily be 3rd or 4th on that last...

Yes, you? Not recently enough to make a comparison with the list above!!! And I missed episodes!! Definitely one to add to the collection though!! GREAT series!!

Pacific has harrowing viewing!! Watched it over a weekend and I felt shell shocked by the end of it!! Even months later I was having flashbacks!! :p

Amazing, amazing, amazing series and that it's based on fact just makes me cry....

Honest isn't spelt with an O...

But good list, I'd add band of brothers though, and probably lost... perhaps only because I haven't watched some of those series.

Yeah it's an brilliant series, wanna get it on Blu Ray soon. I've got the BoB Blu Ray, that thing is amazing.

Just asked because although they're quite different, I think they're pretty much on par, so was wondering why it wouldn't make your list if Pacific did.

I'd just cheat and put them together :p

Is grimm worth watching? Ive seen the Pilot and it looks like it might go either way

I couldn't get through the pilot. Those random face changes in the beginning, from civilian to beast, freaked me out...

You are missing out with LOST.

Sparticus is fun... violence and sex. The story is ok, not going to win an oscar but combined the effects its elevated above ETV soft porn.
