Serious accusations against Cell C by employees

Cell C has dismissed accusations that the company’s Section 189 process is unprocedural and that it is backtracking on an agreement not to cut staff as inaccurate and misleading.

Cell C employees have joined the recent SABC strike in protest of the mobile operators’ retrenchment process.

I cannot understand why the employees are saying CellC is doing well financially. It is two steps away from bankruptcy and has even given up on having its own radio access network for crying out loud

I cannot understand how Cell C retrenched their staff. Unbelievable via email at late hours of the night! I couldn’t wrap my head around it and they supposed to be professional and everything they have done in their section 189 is legal and lawful. The manner in which things have been conducted is unethical and unheard of.

Reminds me of the 2012 and 2014 retrenchments that CellC issued to try and "save" the company back then.
