Server 2003 login problem

When I log on to one of our servers (Windows Server 2003) either via MSTSC or directly on the console, I get the error stating that there's not enough disk space and a default profile will be loaded. This disabled my administrative rights to some extent (cannot change passwords, cannot add printers) Plenty of space left on all volumes, and this is only happening on this server, the others are all fine.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated :crying:

Has been done already, no joy. :( I might add, this happened after the Conficker virus was removed. And it affected only my profile

can't you create another admin profile and try that one?

The problem is my account is an AD account, and this problem I only experience on two of a large number of servers, which means it does not seem to be user account related.

If logon with a local user delete user and recreate. SSID might be corrupted by virus.
If Domain ID maybe try to remove and readd it to Administrators.

Server has also been rebooted recently?

Ask your questions about server- and networking-related issues on SeverFault.com.

It's an excellent site, frequented by many professionals from all of the world, eager to help out. You don't even need to register an account, but I would recommend it. They use OpenID, so if you already have an OpenID account, it's very quick and simple to register.

Is it a roaming profile? Have you checked the permissions of the folder that holds your profile? Lastly, can you post the exact error from the event log, there should be two?
