Seven investing tips experts wish they knew at 21

Very nice article, but does not fit with the times. People needs jobs first to save and invest and build up financial buffers. Jobs are scarce. The majority of the country is sitting unemployed. The economy is struggling and tens of thousands more keep losing their jobs every month. So, when South Africa can ever get a better government, rule the country better, do away with racism and oppression and build an economy, this article will mean a lot more than now.
 
Gonna disagree & try to be neutral. Of the 7 tips 6 are Captain Obvious vibes, only 1 is actually a “hack”.
Which one was the hack? “Remain optimistic”?
 
I don't think the avg 21 year old would care to know or bother.
Heh, I thought you meant that one. Ironically, IMO, that was the worst piece of advice of the lot. The only one that’s actually wrong.
 
DCA that's it.. if you can't afford that each month, then put money in whenever you can.

Just invest in ETF's or good companies if you want to self pick, or both.
