My English is not the best but it reads as if the house belonged to the victims and was on the farms property unless the woman lived separately to the farmer which is possible as his stepson was also killed

Is there some distinction of farm murders and murders on a farm

One of the distinctions made is on the grounds of the victims not knowing the killer. Most murders are done by people who know the victims.

In this case, I don't think it would be amiss to classify them as farm murders based on the limited information available.

Frick, SA can really amaze me, Kestell, small free state community and not 1/2 but 7 murders in one day. I mean we got used to the 1-2 murders per farm incident. I thinks these victims may be wanted to snitch or not help with the stock theft. Yeah, crime is becoming outrageous in SA.
