This project is now closed.

2500 views and only one person indicated that they want to listen to what I have to say.

From the moment I suggested that I am available via google hangouts responses to my post stopped 100%

I volunteered to expose ALL data, info., tech. architecture, GUI mockups via video.

What do I get: silence

So I assume I am not fit to attempt to generate interest or implement these visions.

My strategies are so abstractly high compared to developers that think on IF ... ELSE level that I have been REPEATEDLY ridiculed in hurtful manners.

When I agree to developer-level explain and expose ALL data, info., tech. architecture, GUI mockups via video I get ignored.

I am thus retreating into my old (invisible to everyone) superintroverted self; while I have some selfworth left.

Dude these people think you are a joke and a fake because you don't give any details just a tip if you are going to make a video when you make the speech why not make a video from the beginning and just post the link so everyone can view it and maybe then you will make progress.

I dont know what to say, his ideas are nice,

although I still feel he reinventing the wheel, and this is where it falls apart,
coming on to a forum and saying, hey guys I have an idea xxx and want to share without much more details,
and on very short notice isnt gonna get you so far TBH,

I do admire your enthusiasm alwyn, but what makes you different from every other "backyard operation" out there.....
I mean what is your selling point? a facebook/google+ clone with a analysis part?
there are 1000's out there, what makes your different? why will yours succeed when others have failed miserably.....

please dont think Im getting down on you, I still do admire your enthusiasm!
its just that many have set out, and very few succeed with that enthusiasm still intact after a year...

look at googles backstory, same thing, look at facebook, amazon ect....


just a thought, start with a thorough idea and plan, write it down, share it and take time to answer our questions,

TBH, there is no reason that any IT person should be unemployed. I know of people earning in excess of 50K/pm got fired/retrenched and are unemployed for more than 3-5 months because they don't want to get off their high horse and accept a salary less than they used to earn and prefer to rather sulk around how tough the economy is. I rather have 20K/pm in the bank than waiting out for that 50K+ opportunity.

Hard reality is that in many cases people got fired/retrenched as they managed to stay complacent and did not improve their skillset in years. A company (unless it goes bankrupt) will hardly ever let go of very skilled staff and rather cut down elsewhere.

To the OP: Enthusiasm in your post is great but your post sounds like you are all over the place without a clear goal or any sort of strategy. It is a noble thought to attract unemployed people for a project but those very same people will probably drop you in a heart beat if another opportunity arises. I would rather join a local incubation hub (such as JoziHub) where you can freely discuss your ideas with investors and like-minded people. Your post reads a bit like you forgot to take your meds (I am saying this from a perspective where a Tim Cook / Bill Gates / Jeff Bezos would read your post).
