SGS2 Can't send SMS's in CM9/JB roms anymore, can't update SMSC!

Hey guys.

Ages ago, after I tried another ROM (I forgot which) and then reverting back to CM9, since then I can't send SMSes at all. I just get Sending Failed etc;

I noticed that my SMSC number was corrupt/different, so I think a previous rom had broken it.

Now I found some guides, namely:

But no matter what I do I can't send SMS's

I can receive SMS's and I can make/receive calls just fine.

Any ideas?

I'd phone Voadcom but I don't think anyone there would know what I'm talking about.

Have you tried this for your smsc number 0791722819911100

Am also on cm9 and vodacom and works like a charm for me

Hey man, thanks! I did try that number before but it didn't work after a reboot so I didn't think it was working previously.

but it seems to be working fine, this guide: http://www.carbonite.co.za/f20/smsc-fix-vodacom-south-africa-cm9-aokp-users-sgs2-29397/ mentioned turning the radio off/on..

not sure which of the combos fixed it, but working now.
