I think this Shaik thing in gettin really old now.. they should leave the guy alone. He is only human after all. And I do feel sorry after reading that he has to leave his new born baby and goto prison for this whole ZUMA-MBEKI political game.

Ppl should rather focus on these rapists and murderers who get 5 year suspended sentences after doing things a million times worse than Shaik ever did...

I think Shaik had to take the rap for ol' comrade Jacob, plain & simple. Very sad.

Dont need a crystal ball to predict a quiet presidential pardon in a few years.

Whatever your personal feelings are about Shaik, they are irrelevent to the conditions of his incarceration. A court of law has found him guilty and handed down a sentence. Every prisoner is innocent like in the movies.

What is disgusting is how some are given preferencial treatment due to their contacts or whatever. Think Yengeni. How would you feel if you were also a prisoner and had no such treatment? It isnt fair on others. He is a convicted criminal and should endure the same punishment as any other.

Selebi??? Please no, Mbeki has the fullest confidence that he will "continue" doing a good job and there is no reason to investigate him. I have a small problem with this continue word there, cos he hasn't been doing any job as far as i can tell, crime is worse, and he just drives around in a bigger car.

I wonder what the powers that be were thinking (or smoking) when they appointed Selebi:sick:
