Now my question: It looks liked this "shaping" started at 20Gb downloaded data (ensuring the ISP get about R 25 per gb $$$$$$). I may be wrong - my own theory. (I left my pc on and regulary restarted my pc etc.) My line stayed round 20kbps download dropping to 4 kbps during office hours because of the usual bla-bla-bla of giving other protocols the bla-bla-bla! so tired of hearing that. Now comes the cherry on the cake! - my downloads never came to that level again this weekend and only managed 40 kbps the highest point avg 20kbps the whole time :
My Question why can't I achieve my previous DL speed???? My mails to AXXESS assured me with the usual, no limit etc bla-bla-bla & only pointing to the next level IS
To test & compare I subcribed to OPENWEB's deal of 30 GB High Bandwidth Unshaped. Starting yesterday I managed only round 40 kbps dl at the best last night and the it died this morning managing only 25 kbps as I write. It's even worst than AXXESS's shaped 4mb!!!
MY BIG QUESTION: What happened to my 200kbps that i got last weekend?????????? Will i ever see that again?????? Clearly someone is throttling the torrents (yes i'm using utorrent and are aware that this will be shaped sometimes, (NEVER over weekends the mails and telephone operators assured me) Now what: I'm paying for Unshaped bandwith that gets Shaped???????? (oh yes, notice will be send to OPENWEB on Monday to cancel & close my account month end)
It seems to me both AXXESS and OPENWEB uses IS (INTERNET SOLUTIONS) I believe the problem could be there ???????
Please share with me, I'm looking for unshaped bandwith (torrents), where can get some :wtf:?????
Looking at MWEB business ???? (Just scared of MWEB they're like the old SABC
