Not sure which section to post this?

So, I managed to get this right a long time ago, but for the life of me, cannot remember how I did it :/

I have the following:

Laptop running win8.1
Vodafone K3772-Z 3G dongle
TP-Link TD-W8960N ADSL Router.

What I would like to do is share the 3G dongle, which is plugged into my laptop via USB, through the router so I can use it for my PS4. I am using my S2 as a hotspot, but it is extremely sporadic. ping ranges from 120-500ms to a server, while when using the dongle, it's a perfect 120-150ms.

I am not 100% sure as to what settings I need to use in order for the router to basically share the connection. I am totally lost here. If anyone can give me a step by step guide, it would be grand. By the way, yes, I have "shared" the 3G dongles connection, but nadda.

Thank guys!

When you say "share" did you use "internet connection sharing (ICS)"?

You'd then also have to disable DHCP in the router as the PC will handle the DHCP issuing

Yeah, used ICS.

What would the WAN Link type be? I have the following:

PPoE
PPoA
IPoE
IPoA
Bridge

And then:

WAN IP Address Settings:Use DHCP or Static IP. Now if I use static, what would be the addresses for the IP of the router, gateway, and subnet mask? This is what confuses me.

I am trying to get my PS4 to connect, but hot dang.

Some guys are just simply sharing their 3G connection, and plugging an ethernet cable from their PC to their (Xbox 360, or PS3) and voila. Not sure if it's a setting with mine, or with the PS4 that doesn't allow that.

For some reason, it limits the dongle. :/ No throughput at all with connectify.

It still doesn't connect to the net. The laptop picks up the connection to the PS4, but nothing. :/
