I think one of the main reasons fans don't wanna go - it has no atmosphere. One is removed from the action for a start and then there is no after game party either ....... you do not take that away from a Sharks fan :)

May I ask how we know this?

And why would there be no game after party? Are they going to ban them? The fields next door will still be there.

it looks like a confused basket

WHATEVER.... just because your hat doesn't look so good. I am intrigued as to where you gained your experience of what a confused basket looks like?

Our hat looks pretty good judging by all the folks on Signall Hill who made an effort to see it light up.

Its called timeless architecture.

When arches go out of fashion(wembley, MM etc), the colourful lights of Allianz are no longer interesting and the Birds Nest's steel mess starts rusting, timeless architecture remains.
Lets slap on an arch and call it iconic.

Cape Town stadium has a design quality that will persevere beyond contemporary design trends.

The thing about timeless architecture, is well, only time will tell if it is indeed timeless.

They had no choice, they don't own the Shark Tank.

Unlike the Lions and the Bulls.

And all that of course is said with not one ounce of bias....

Good point. It's like the sharks knew they were going to lose.

It also depends on ones definition of timeless.

Wembley stadium is essentially a shopping centre looking building with an arch slapped on top of it. Others of course may feel differently.

Sharks CEO Brian van Zyl said: "I would like to reiterate what I said last year - we are in ongoing discussions with the city and at this point no decision has been made on whether or not to move across to the new stadium.

Smoke... fire.

Buddy, the Lions don't own Ellis Park. Infact Orlando Pirates own a 51% controling stake in the stadium. ;)

The management is controlled 51% by a black owner company and 49% by Interza Lesego, Orlando Pirates Football Club and Ellis Park World of Sport (Pty) Ltd.
