Yes, I know there is a Sharks thread, and some other silly thread that others stupidly demanded be made sticky, but this game needs it's own thread.

Here's hoping the Sharks, with their fourth choice flyhalf, whip those little Balletjie players shortly! I'm sure the Balls fans are a little annoyed that their glory boy Morne was booted out the Springbok team by a Sharks players so it should add even more stick to this big game.

We were kind enough to organise some chilly Pretoria weather for the Calf players so they don't have any excuse!

Bring it on! :)

GO SHARKS!

If the ref can't cheat the Sharks then the linesman will. No replay shown of the "transgression" and we get a brilliant try disallowed... suppose it is the usual really when the Bulls and Sharks play!

Oh yes, of course the assistant referee is cheating. I mean look at the way van den Berg and his captain protested when he was sent off, I mean the cheating referee had to drag him off the field. Oh wait... :erm: Pity we couldn't see a replay of the event, though.

Bulls commit foul play - Bulls are immediately labeled "Bullies" and the generalization goes on
Sharks commit foul play - Cheating assistant referee

Guess we can't win against you guys :D

Sorry, I forgot that this would be totally unfamiliar territory for a Bulls player and their supporters but our players respect the refs decision and realise it is futile to argue.

Hmm, so although you admit to never having seen the replay you are convinced the Sharks committed a foul? And you say we are biased!

He chose not to protest to the ref for the reason explained above (this is not football) but he did mutter under his breath while walking away.

May I ask what protesting and bitching at the ref would actually achieve. I know it is normal on this forum but has no place on a rugby field.

Oh look another one... and BOTH the commentators are asking what the hell?!?!?!? Perhaps the Sharks players need to wear armbands next week saying "Justice 6"

But of course it was deliberate foul play (to all the blind Bulls fans!)

I too, do the following:

our players respect the refs decision

He chose not to protest to the ref for the reason explained above (this is not football) but he did mutter under his breath while walking away.

Yes? And that is proof of his innocence?

May I ask what protesting and bitching at the ref would actually achieve. I know it is normal on this forum but has no place on a rugby field.

What does muttering under your breath while walking away achieve? ;)

I've covered this before:

Bulls commit foul play - Bulls are immediately labeled "Bullies" and the generalization goes on
Sharks commit foul play - Cheating assistant referee

Guess we can't win against you guys :D

Sigh, I've said what I felt was needed to say before, see how much has sunk in. :p But I'm going to go enjoy what's left of the game, arguments between "blind fans" never really gets anywhere :D

OK please say what you want to say again in your own words as that made very little sense....

If I wanted to read my own posts again I would use the scroll button.

But I feel your pain.... It's going to be embarrassing to say you lost to, or battled to beat, a Sharks team which consisted of 14 men for 20 minutes!!

My apologies, but I don't have my own words, I'm using the same ones that everyone else is using :p

Didn't feel like typing what I had already said for a second time. But no matter, I never argued that the Bulls deserve to win (just felt like pointing out a bit of hypocrisy), well played and well deserved Sharks :)

Perhaps we can now un-sticky that Bulls thread again! :)

Then please un-sticky the Sharks thread ;) The Super 14 champions have a sticky and the Currie Cup champions have a sticky. :p
