Okay so I know there are a ton of threads featuring the same questions but they seem to be 5+ years out of date so please bear with me.

So this particular motherboard is available on AliExpress with shipping called DPEX and other courier methods, I was hoping to order things and get them here sooner with couriers but I've done some research on mybroadband forums and found that people are actually having issues getting their electronics because of unforeseen costs I remember one poster mentioning he had to pay literally 105% of the value of the product he bought so basically if the item costed R100 he would have to pay R105 in total in excess of the R100 including the shipping.

I of cause would not want this to happen to me, so my question is what costs would I be expected to pay on receiving this particular item, bear in mind that I don't plan on only buying this one item I will buy different hardware for personal usage.

Kind regards

Why would you pay R1350 (minus local vat etc) for a USED motherboard from china?

If you are interested in used parts head on over to carbonite.

Why a Z77 MB? Are you trying to replace a faulty Z77 board or just trying to build something on the cheap?

Also check out ScottalusMaximus shipping while over at Carbonite if you're insistent on shipping goods from overseas.

I've already owned that exact board so it's a board I trust and am familiar with, thanks for the suggestion of Carbonite I never really gave their forums a check out because I never knew how it worked and still dont.

I have used ali express for years, there is normally some type of tax, i have used the post office method (free shipping), i am not sure how the courier would work though, Try e-bay and register with amarex global shopper...I am going to get an nvidia shield...and see how it goes..

I recently got something shipped from china using DPEX, it took about 7 days with no tax whatsoever

They used Skynet as their local partner...just the status didnt get updated because Skynet used a different tracking number
