Looting at Eskom has reached biblical proportions in recent years, with reports stating that the total amount stolen could reach R500 billion.

The Special Investigating Unit is currently looking into the theft of R170 billion from Eskom – R139 billion of which is related to 11 contractors who helped build the Medupi, Kusile, and Ingula power plants.

With Eskom’s Medupi, Kusile, and Ingula plants costing R334 billion to build, the R139 billion stolen by contractors makes up a large chunk of the total price tag.

The SIU said as part of its investigation it has identified 1,980 employees who failed to declare their interests to Eskom.
And at the heart, what this demonstrates is that NOWHERE WITHIN THE STRUCTURES OF THE 1552798973339.pngdid ANYONE have the will, courage, foresight or ability to prevent this. Up to 500 BILLION from a single entity. I think we should apply to the Guinness book of records on the ANC's behalf.

Fire the near 2000 employees and you'd be rid of nearly 5% of the staff bloat without needing to worry about unions.

There is not a single person within the ANC structures who did not benefit some way or the other from the corruption. Some information on some individuals just did not come to light as yet. Unofficially, South Africa has, with the ANC, the most corrupt government that ever existed in the history of the world. And, yes, the corruption still continues this day. This is why South Africa's economy will never be corrected again and why this country will remain a risk for any person who has money to invest.

This is why each and everything the ANC takes over, gets involved in, regulates, etc., turns to s**t. They are starting more and more to get involved in the regulation of the private sector since their public sector collapsed. This is the end of the country as we know it. The people of this country, the followers of the ANC and EFF does not know what suffering is yet. The real suffering is still to come.

And not a single arrest or conviction!
Ramapahosa is a complicit and captured figurehead.
And SARS and Regulators who impose fees will keep sucking the lifeblood out of the middle class to keep at it as long as it takes, till the last cent is looted.

Yes, he is complicit and was complicit since the start. There are more than enough evidence in the media supporting this. This country is gripped by corruption. Once a country is corrupt, it can no longer grow its economy. These countries find it extremely difficult to grow and none have ever succeeded. Corruption in the SA government cannot even be compared to that in Nigeria or even the other countries currently listed in the top 3 most corrupt in the world.

Agreed.

The droll is now thoroughly mixed with the drinkwater and can't be separated.

Like a stagnant pond, it stinks and all life (economic) will be choked out of existence.
