Short-seller Viceroy strikes again – sends SA fund crashing

NEPI Rockcastle has hit back at short-seller Viceroy, after the group published a new research document claiming the real estate fund was overstating profits.

Hmmm... bit misleading.

The crash doesn't seem to be related to the Viceroy report. They've been on a downward trend for the last 6 months...

Also, Capitec seems to have recovered to pre-report levels, so that part of the article also looks wrong.

The short-seller is also targeted banking group Capitec in a series of reports, claiming the bank was a loan shark and also manipulating its loan books. The claims sent Capitec’s share price crashing, and it has not since recovered.
