cyxx, if he's willing to change (AA etc) then stick by him, he must have some redeeming qualities otherwise it wouldn't have lasted 6 years

Even a real man can get drunk and make an accident. Happens all the time.

if he was a real man he would drive properly though..

problem is she wants a set of hairy boys and he's driving like a girl

I disagree,

Doesn't sound like he has a drinking problem. He's just to stupid to realize when not to be doing stupid things like driving. Getting drunk and bumping a car is no reason for AA. He's prob still just at a point in his life where he wants to hang out with friends get drunk and do the club scene.

We've all been there. I have out grown that very long ago. Think I was about 25  not to sure but it was a few years back.

He should learn the hard way. He will kill himself and prob her too one day with his childish stupidity

This is difficult. But it does not seem as though he is serious about your future. What if you have children and this happens once again? What if they are in the car?
So you must ask yourself if your love for him is so great that you can accept these things and the even bigger troubles that may and at this stage definitely will come. Do you want stability? For it does not seem as though he wants it?
My opinion is that he is playing around with your ( and later possibly your kids') financial and physical well being.

WE have been engaged for nearly three years, in this interim we have had alot on our plates, buying the house and well since we've become very comfortable with the situation and felt no need to rock the boat, thats just the way it happend.

I dont think he has a drinking problem, just very irresponsible as I am always having to stress about the way he drives. Right now he seems remourseful but he can be very sincere when he wants to so I dont know, I thought we had been through this before, I just feel really done by!

but he musta been reall pi$$ed to wreck 2 cars!!!

In 3 years, though. It's not as if he did in in a month. What were the circumstances of the first accident? And to write a car off these days doesn't take much. Like me, who drove over a kerb at 30km/h and the car was written off.

Some guys just have that tallent. My one cousin used to get into the wierdest crashes and he never drank. He's dead now from a head-on crash with a Clover truck outside of Kuruman (If I recall correctly) Him, his wife and 2yo daughter) They where on their way back from the gynea confirming they have another on the way.

But in all fairness he drived like a prick.

Some people just don't grow up. That is the problem, him getting pissed from time to time unfortunatley seems to always coinside with his crashes :D
