Should parliament be moved to Pretoria? Is having the legislative capital in Cape Town worth the expense, or should it join the executive in Pretoria?
Then they will need luxury yachts to get from the mainland to Robben Island.No. They should be moved to Robben Island.
Lol...about right.....No, we don't want more criminals in Gauteng, the can use the veld and trees at Company's Garden in Cape Town!
All good, but once there the hunger games start. Then they will need luxury yachts to get from the mainland to Robben Island.
At the time, the cost to move parliament to Pretoria would have been R237 million. Conversely, the cost to move the country’s administration to Cape Town would have been R23.5 billion.
A revised breakdown of the costs published in 2016 saw the costs to move parliament rise to R7 billion – but it was expected that this would save the country between R500 million and R750 million annually.
Oi, leave us out of this. We host those clowns every couple of years for the ANC funtime get together and that is more than doing our part, thank you very much.Instead of having 3 capitals, Government should move everything to Bloemfontein or Harrysmith if you ask me. It's central location between the major population centres and out of the way from major cities so the blue light convoys won't disrupt traffic and cause delays
