Showmax has some really good content en I would promote them more, if I didn't have to swear at them every second time I want to watch something. Buggy app on my Samsung TV, regular issues when chromecasting, very poor at keeping track of where I am in a series or movie, etc...

Strange. Works fine on my el cheapo 2015 Samsung smart tv.

Evod shows ads on the paid version...

So does the DStv app when watching catchup, every 10 minutes. Can only skip ad after 5 seconds.. And, in my experience, skipping it causes it to go back to the start of the show. Annoying as ****.
Granted, I'm viewing via "crookery" - but still.

Edit: BTW how come none of these streaming services are on Hisense VIDAA U except Showmax?

Any ideas how to install TelkomOne app on there?
