Showtime_lo ??

On my Telkom ADSL USB Pots modem control panel

it shows MODEM STATE as SHOWTIME_LO

and

REMOTE REPORT as SHOWTIME


Im pretty sure when i first started using it the modem state was also SHOWTIME ??

Can anyone tell me what theirs says, or what this means??

In my router it also says show time.
Think this means everything is ready and working perfectly?

Dunno about the "lo" though
Maybe ur modem was made in china hehe

I have never seen this on all the modems I have worked with...

But then it is a Telkom modem

xcpointtx me gets the feeling you not gonna be much liked here. Have you not noticed that you seem to be the only one with that "problem", hence no one has replied with any credible answers. This is normally the way a forum works, incase you did not know...

All I know is ..

Ill laugh so freaking hard if one day a Telkom tech gets back to me and has the answer.

But obviously my problem is just that noone uses the Telkom ADSL POTS modem, or even knows someone with one. Weird that cos its the cheapest modem available. I just would have thought with all the hype and bad mouthing on ADSL and Telkom, someone here would be familiar with their products..
