Sigma 70-200 f/2.8 EX DG APO

Does anyone have any experience with the above mentioned lens? I'm not referring to the new version II or the OS version. The one I'm talking about is about 2 years old and seems a pretty good deal if you can pick up a decent one 2nd hand.

A 70-200 f/2.8 for 4 grand just seems too good to be true and it's slightly smaller than the Canon and lighter.

Add a 1.4x or 2x teleconverter and you have a pretty decent lens for shooting game or even motor racing.

I would definitely get one for R4k!! Just thoroughly check back/front focus and sharpness from corner to corner at all focal lenghts!

Seems decent for the price.

I've decided it's time to finally sell my 16-35 f/2.8 and add the canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II to my bag. It's weather sealed and works exceptionally well with canon's 2x tc.
