Hi,
why would the signal just drop from 5 bars to 0, and then a few minutes later magically popping back to 5 bars?

I thought we just reset cellphones, seems like cell towers resets too!

Can anyone enlighten me ?

Thanks.

The last 2 days from late afternoon till midnight i have to double check if it's not the VM sim that's in my phone.
MTN's signal is like VM's now, slow from late afternoon till midnight but not too bad in the early morning.

???MTN???VM???MTN???VM???MTN???VM???

Sometimes they shut down the towers for routine inspections. Could be the problem because i often have to check VC's towers and insist they shut down the tower for health reasons of course.

Are you asking why it jumps? I asked the same a while ago, app what happens is when it downloads it jumps to HSDPA and when the card is idling then it reverts back to 3G, dunno why but thats how it works.

332... well thats pretty good considering how slow they have been recently... this morning i got 537kbps on a speedtest.

Are you guys still getting this?

The only time I've seen this is if you're on the boaderline of 2G & 3G and you've got a 3G phone and they working on the node B then you'll phone will try and logon to the 3G network going a full bar of 2G to 2 or 3 bars of 3G

Maybe that - Are you still having the same problem
