Sim Card for pre-paid data

I have this pre-paid sim that I only use for data. Every time I insert it in my phone, I get about 3 "please call me" sms's from who knows.

Why is this? I don't even know the number offhand & I never use it to make calls. Not that I return these calls, it just bugs me.
