Sim Swop?

Hi all,

I want to take advantage of VC's new 20gig offer but I only have a Cell C modem.Can I use the VC sim in the Cell C speedstick automatically but just inserting it in the modem and browsing straight away or do I need to install software/change settings.Please advise as I need a simple solution ( do bear in mind that I am a reletive newbie when it comes to these sorts of things so go easy on me would you?) Thanks guys.

Instead of using the standard dash boards use MDMA
That should assist you in using that sim in the modem.

Thanks for the info guys..seems to work just fine with either the Cell C dashboard or MDMA.Just a quick one , though, for anyone whose using the 20 Gig package from VC..I downloaded data with standard prepaid airtime to test out the network speed and I got a stable speed of 2mb/s which wasn't great but was better than what I get from other SP's.I then purchased the 20 Gig bundle and noticed that the speed had suddenly become quite erratic with a max speed of 1.2 mb/s. Just speculation here but I hope that VC isn't somehow throttling the speeds on this promotional data offer..any thoughts?
