Have a look at Openshot and Shotcut. I'm no expert but I tried both of these for a couple of personal projects and they both did what they said on the tin.
 
Hello Everyone! Hope I will find here people who can help me with an advice.
My business is connected with sea freight and I am looking for SaaS solution for it. I have tried several ready-made solutions but any of them covers all my business needs. My friends recommend me to hire a dedicated development team to create my own custom SAAS solution and I am considering this option now.
So the question is should we start from MVP development or work on the whole system from the beginning.
 
I really wouldn't recommend a custom development - specially using a remote development team - unless you have prior experience (e.g. project management) in the specification and creation of such systems ...

As someone who retired after forty years in the IT industry developing bespoke systems are you confident that you are capable of both specifying & driving the project to completion ?

I apologise in advance for sounding patronising but, based on your questions, I am not sure that you are :confused:

That said, I would suggest that (before calling in software houses) you start by creating a specification of your requirements., providing as much detail as possible and differentiating between minimum requirements and nice-to-haves.

I am on the search for free software that will convert JPEG to PES.

PES is the file that BROTHER embroidery machines use to stitch patterns etc. At the moment I'm using a demo site and I can't find anything on the only site I know< from back home, which is FILEHIPPO, unless I'm not typing in the right information.

To be honest, I don't rely on free sites that offer software. Maybe this is just a negative experience of downloading a program with a built-in virus, but since then I prefer licensed assemblies.

That happens mostly with pirated software which is different from open-source.
 
Guys i am looking for a solution to stop my kid from having internet access on his laptop at certain times.He is connected via wfi.i want a program installed on his pc to switch the internet or block it after 11 etc,but at the same it needs to be hidden from him and he cant hack or bypass it. .
Or at least block roblox site from 11pm till 2pm

^ This check your router it might have QOS service that can limit his Mac address from accessing the net at certain times - other alternatives if its a Win 10 laptop you can link it under family account and can prevent use to certain apps at specific times or you know take the damn thing away from him

... and don't forget to secure the router's admin password before the lock-down :)
 
it is a windows 10 pc.I am single father and its got to the point where i cant take it no more.Since lockdown he has been in front of the pc 24 /7.I am a softy so he gets away with it but no no.lol
