It looks sleek, ipodish, but not sure if i'm blind, but i don't see an "outside screen and keypad" like with the E90 ? . In other words, how do you use it as a phone? Opening it up everytime ?

Does the screen swivel ? [i.e. like the Jasjar]

Better picture

Here's a bit of a better pic of the HTC Omni. http://www.pocketables.net/2007/01/htc_omni_detail.html I am currently using the TyTn, and I must admit, with all the standard comms features (bluetooth, gprs, etc) as well as UMTS, 3G, HSDPA, EDGE etc it already covers all major comms abilities. I can't imagine anyone using much more than that right now. I'm not at all underestimating the abilities of the Omni, and I'm sure it's way better than the TyTn in every way, so I wouldn't try to compare. I just don't see myself spending way over the R7000-00 mark for a mobile phone with so many added features that I might not ever need. The TyTn already has built-in video-calling and many more features that can't really be used yet as it's a forward-technology, and the general population takes a while to catch up. By the time everyone is completing video-calls we might be in outer space already. There are even many component-upgrades available for the TyTn. But let me not babble too much. If you can purchase the Omni without hurting your pocket then I would highly recommend it - but for us (me) average guys, the TyTn or other "lower level" HTC devices are sufficient.
