I think its also a given that these scum have collaborators (if not even senior syndicate members) in the SIU and all other law agencies.

Its partly why we're seeing small fry and middle men getting pinged by law enforcement but we have yet to see any real big fish being nailed in my opinion. They throw the expendables under the bus to avoid prosecution for the big boys.
For me it's very simple, if I commit murder on behalf of someone it is up to me to implicate that person and give evidence against them so that I don't go to jail alone. If I choose to gamble and not implicate them hoping I get off and get rewarded for my silence then that's on me, I am not a victim and I was not thrown under the bus.

Oh in many ways 100% on this. I wasn't thinking that the guys being "thrown under the bus" are victims at all. I also don't necessarily think its a gamble for them, there are financial rewards for keeping quiet (and not just for the person directly involved, but their families and all sorts). Its all very carefully planned and such so that the low level guys are generally the only ones caught or prosecuted.

There's also the real risk you get dead if you start singing.

I would also hazard a guess that there is a real risk that those around you also get dead. Its a very complicated web that these lot weave to protect those up top.

So the ANC is now killing corruption whistle blowers and then states that this is societies` problem.. No surprise here. This is a great victory for ANC.

And guess which country the murderers are from? We should cut all diplomatic ties with that country.
Might as well cut ties with India because of guptas, naidoo's, shaik's then. I suppose I can come up with some of our respected european countries as well if I cherry pick carefully as to the origin.

Whistleblower protection in South Africa needs urgent review — Ramaphosa

As the fight against corruption gathers momentum, South Africa needs to urgently review its approach to witness protection and the broader protection of whistleblowers, President Cyril Ramaphosa says in his weekly letter to the country.

“While numerous systems are in place to enable whistleblowers to report anonymously, we need to tighten up existing systems and provide greater support to those who publicly come forward with information,” Ramaphosa stated.

Bizarre (though perhaps not unexpected) that this is not the biggest story in the land.
We need to shout this from the rooftops. The rocks and the trees need to give voice to it. These bastards MUST get life without the possibility of parole EVER. If not the soul of this country is gone forever and our souls with it. This is a line we cannot allow to be crossed.

Ii hope all connected will get long sentences but I have the usual feeling only the puppets will get convicted and none of the top cadres involved.

There are no puppets, just corrupt people who were in it it for themselves and no one else.
