Very obviously one of the RET boys and girls...

Maybe its Ace? That would be a nice little addition to all the charges he currently faces.
I doubt it could be Ace, in his defence he kept to his province and was never one to go poking his nose into other people's turfs.

I think the news report could be exaggerating on the seniority, it could turn out to be some branch chairperson or something.

I'm being somewhat facetious with the Ace bit tbh...

I am pretty sure they will find some low level branch chairperson or member to throw under the bus, but (at least in my mind) its very clear that some very senior ANC people were invovled in the PPE corruption, and were very likely involved in ordering this hit.

Yeah, it's all looking very amateurish currently, I doubt someone senior would implicate themselves to a point where they have to resort to such desperate measures, but you never know.

If it is not one of top 6 NEC who pulled the trigger, then I will consider all this is completely rigged and justice system is corrupt - somebody.

Ii hope all connected will get long sentences but I have the usual feeling only the puppets will get convicted and none of the top cadres involved.
I'm past the point of hope; have lost all confidence in the SA justice system :-(

Until I see ANC ministers doing actual long term prison sentences and paying back/recovered looted money this country is lost with it's current government.

No man, Cyril is just the useless idiot figurehead...

Herr Doekiness runs the country, she placed the order.
You are close but not accurate but not your fault as you are not a comrade. Xi Jin Ping runs the show and she is a puppet.

Whilst it wouldn't surprise me that the cops did threaten to kill him, the claim that the photos of her vehicle and place of residence were not for nefarious purposes is just a tad bit of a stetch for me... Why would him being a Bolt driver mean he'd have reason to take those photos. (granted it does depend on the context of the whole photo)

Yeah, it just doesn't add up, from the face of it, it looks most likely that he was involved in the murder, maybe him being a Bolt driver was very useful to collect ptlictures of the house and car to give to the murderers.

Is this all true ? He sounds like a good Samaritan. I have no idea why he feels abandoned by everybody though. I understand the bit about fearing for safety after this murder of course. Would leaving country be the cheapest option?

I have spoken up continuously about injustices in our country and taken action where I could. Rather than support me, I’ve faced alienation and abandonment by corporate South Africa which I served for many years, from the university where I taught ethics, and from my government; and I’ve been let down by many friends. I’ve lost all sources of income and had to sell belongings to meet my obligations which include funding social projects like Read to Rise which works with 20,000 children annually. I have suffered severe damage to my health and my reputation. Now I have lost my home, being forced out of the very country I acted to defend. I feel profound sadness that leaves me in tears. I shake my head asking: ‘how did it come to this?’

I doubt his life was in any more danger than some of the other whistleblowers. I, myself have never heard of the guy until in the news this morning. Reading some of this claims he seems like a bit of a drama king. He doesn't seem like a direct witness to anything in state capture either which would have put in more real danger than what he imagines. He's just some sort of self styled crusader.

I was about to say the same. I had also never heard of this guy before this. It doesn't make sense that he would abandon his family though. Unless he has no wife/children/parents. Surely, they will be more at risk even in his absence?
